چکیده
Aim: To evaluate the predictive roles of biochemical and complete blood count parameters in diagnosis febrile seizures by comparing these between patients with simple without seizures. Methods: One hundred fifty-two children (66 girls 86 boys), aged 6-60 months presenting fever symptoms to our hospital’s pediatric emergency department January 2015 2020 were included study. Demographic data, parameter levels compared two groups. These divided into a patient group (n = 74) control 78). Results: Comparison revealed significantly higher glucose, CRP, ALT seizure group, while Ca Na lower. white cell (WBC), neutrophil, red distribution width, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR) values hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume, lymphocytes, platelet volume lower. Conclusions: We think that addition markers such as WBC, leukocytes, CRP for evaluating inflammation seizures, simple, easily available, inexpensive tests NLR PLR can also be useful assessing inflammation.

The evaluation of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and platelet to lymphocyte ratio in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with and without ocular complications
Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis patients are evaluated during treatment for various inflammatory factors such as C-reactive protein, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, and Disease Activity Score, and other immune system-related factors. In the follow-up of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, hematologic factors associated with the immune system especially Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio and Neutroph...
متن کاملNew Predictive Parameters of Bell's Palsy: Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio and Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio.
BACKGROUND Bell's palsy is the most frequent cause of unilateral facial paralysis. Inflammation is thought to play an important role in the pathogenesis of Bell's palsy. AIMS Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are simple and inexpensive tests which are indicative of inflammation and can be calculated by all physicians. The aim of this study was to reve...
متن کاملPredictive Value of Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio and Platelet Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Coronary Slow Flow.
BACKGROUND Increased microvascular resistance due to chronic inflammation is assumed to be one of the mechanisms associated with coronary slow flow (CSF). Previous studies have shown that the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are markers of inflammation for various diseases. In this study we aimed to evaluate the relationship between CSF and PLR-NLR. ...
متن کاملPlatelet to lymphocyte ratio and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio in patients with rheumatoid arthritis
OBJECTIVES It has been well documented that the platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are associated with outcomes for patients with gastric cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and acute heart failure. Inflammation may be the hidden factor that explains the correlation between NLP, PLR, and these diseases. However, to date, the data concerning NLR, PLR, ...
